She could have used something closer to home though. Like some job connected to fashion. Would be easier to use her resources there than shanghai a coffee shop like this
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

(Hmm - I assumed that Eva didn't know this coffee shop at all. But I guess if she had more prior intelligence on the place and its staff than was implied in the previous strip, it would explain a lot.)
Having Eva as an important customer of this coffee shop could do the trick maybe ? It would also explain why she knows Laure's name.
Also, is it me, or are the characters' heads growing larger and larger in proportion to their bodies?
Soon SOTR will be a chibi comic :p

Perhaps Laure might be so fed up by all this she'll just leave wearing Eva's expensive dress, but I think she needs her glasses to see.

That's what I assumed as well, that pinched staring looks familiar. Now I'm wondering if Eva's going to have eyestrain or a headache from staring through the glasses. (Having a pretty poor eyesight myself, I'm used to the exclamation "But how can you SEE with that?!?" after "borrowing" my glasses for a second or two...)

Kind of obviously visible at close quarters, I'd have thought. And not physically possible with some glasses without special tools. But whatever...

If those glasses are lensless then why is Laure squinting like she's having trouble seeing?

@brasca: Removing the lenses doesn't mean Eva had to give 'em back. They could be in her pocket, or in the trash. It's a minor detail that she isn't concerned with.

Eisu said it's a hipster cafe where lensless glasses are hip and I can believe that, but I think Laure really needed hers to see since she's squinting. And while this might seem like a minor detail I am very much concerned. Girls in glasses is my thing and the thought that this cute nerdy girl is inconvenienced any further is unbearable. Zoe made it up to Lavali for a similar incident, but I doubt Eva will do the same.

Probably not. Still, I wouldn't put it past Eva to flash a billfold at her to get Laure out of her hair, if she makes an issue of it either.

She's not squinting, it's her angry face... no, really, I wasnt' drawing her squinting... that's an expression I draw for Lore to show a frustrated angry face...

(I guess it didn't help that since her glasses came off, that's the only expression she showed, my bad ^^;;;)

That's okay. We don't really have too many other characters who wear glasses as a frame of reference except for Penelope and Tatiana and the latter is perpetually angry and wears glasses that normally obscure her eyes anyway. As such I didn't know if she was angry or squinting.

I'm exaggerating here. Perhaps I should've added this little fellow. :))
