Heheh, ands he thought she was going to be the second gay. Third act twist!

And would you look at that, Ramona making Angel play nice. Now that I could get used to.

Oh dear. Ruby's more dubious schemes kicking in again. She really ought to be above such things. Oh well. Now, is she going to try and supervise them, or is she going to try leaving them together? Probably the former, given that the point of this from her point of view is that she wants to watch.

And a minor trivial issue arising; does the heart in Ramona's first speech balloon mean that she's developing a twinge of erotic fondness for Ruby, or just that she enjoyed the meeting very much indeed?

Unless Ramona is bisexual like Zii and that fact was lost during all the intersex discussion I think she's just in love with the club.

Turnabout is fair play and even though Ruby was never the victim of Dillon's schemes to get Gary into the sack I have no problem with her facilitating some form of karma.

Of course if Jerzy arrives shortly after Julian I can see Dillon digging himself into a hole by passing him off as his new boyfriend. And if that was all a part of Ruby's scheme then she is truly diabolical.

She'd require Batman/supervillain schemer levels of cunning to have that planned. She's good, but she's not that good,

Ruby playing matchmaker with Dillon would just be turnabout being fair play - except that, for one thing, her voyeurism occasionally slips into the faintly creepy (it's a necessary release for her until such time as she unwinds enough for Andy to get lucky, but it still involves her treating people as objects), and for another, she's knowingly trying to set Dillon up with someone who she should realise triggers a fairly serious squick reflex for him. Dillon still sees Julian as a child, damnit. And Ruby is getting Julian's hopes up unfairly, too.

I got the impression that usually in these strips, a heart just implied a sickly-sweet tone of voice.

Just look at that smile in panel 4. I don't know whether to giggle giddily or express concern. Ruby's the cat who ate the canary.

Can't say that I blame her. Ruby seems to have spent the last ten or fifteen years feeling plain, friendless, and ineffectual; now she's discovered that none of that has to be true. Can't blame her for getting a little bit drunk with power. A few canaries are going to have to die before this cat is sated.

The stuff that yuri is made of. Incidentally Lavali probably hosts that group.

If Dillon has noticed that Ruby seems to be quite happy hanging out with Andy, who he's tagged as her boyfriend without her really arguing, and let alone her passionate devotion to yaoi, I think he'd know that was a very unlikely guess. He was just confused by what she said, and going for the only logical implication that fitted the data available to him, however unlikely.

Aw, no. The one person who inspired Dillon to at least try to have a little restraint, and Ruby wants to put them in an enclosure together... ^^;

Very true ;)

Though I can say that there are some lesbians who love yaoi...

One would think you'd need to have at least some sexual interest in men if you want to look at erotica or porn involving exclusively men...
