I was going to ask why no one ever locks the bathroom door and then I forgot this is the universe where Menage a 3 takes place. Locks don't exist.

Awww... Poor, sweet, Ruby...
BTW, I am wondering what kind of "weekly ritual" is... Just showering together?

Something like that. I think that we saw when the tradition started.
Anyhow, Ruby continues to adapt. I'm sure that she reckons she's just acquired too much information about Dillon and Amber's habits, and she's as annoyed and discomforted as most people would be to be interrupted in the shower - but she then handles it as well as most people would.
Dillon, meanwhile, continues to strike poses even when he's on his own. Oh well, consistent characterisation.
I assume that, on top of the basic joke, the point of this strip is to make interactions between Ruby and the other two awkward this morning - so if Dillon says anything about Andy, or Amber asks how the date went, Ruby will just snap at them. And Ruby won't feel able to ask Amber for advice on her perceived problem.

Ah there's the Ruby we all know. She even has sufficient provocation for yelling this time - who'd react well to having their shower interrupted like that? But yeah, after that start to the day, I can't see Ruby talking to either Dillon or Amber about her date, not after she's just been reminded of why both of them are just...so...annoying.

I think that every Ruby we've seen has been written as the Ruby we know, so far. We had to learn a few things about her, but she really is quite a consistent character. It's something to like about her; she's probably the most completely imagined character in the Ma3 universe, rather than just being a couple of hooks for jokes loosely tied together.

Ah, another one of those huge showers where three people fit in without any problems.
I also note the "step into the shower and soap up by rubbing against anther naked body" was also recently in Ma3.
And, mmm, Ruby without glasses!!

Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Re: 25-05-14 My weekly ritual
I may not have my coffee yet but I can plainly see that Ruby is cute with her hair down and no glasses. Her reaction is both funny and understandable.
Whatever conversation comes after this, Ruby's emotions might overwhelm her and make said conversation less productive. Then again I could be talking out of my ass so take that last sentence with a grain of salt.
(going to get that coffee now)

Re: 25-05-14 My weekly ritual
Ruby can have constructive conversations with either of the other two, but she has to get past her view of Amber as a skeevy porn star and treat her as someone who might have useful insights, and she has to get Dillon past his drama queen joker persona and get him treating herself as someone to take seriously. Both have happened, but after this, I doubt that they're going to happen again this morning.

Heh. Always having been prepared to make passes at girls who wear glasses (back in my single days), and having nothing against her bob, I'm happy to leave her as she usually is. I thought that she looked cute in a slightly jailbait-ish way in the immediately preceding strip, and stunning with the jacket over the dress in the one before that.
