Brooke's face in panel two just makes all the drama to come worthwhile.

It would be a great idea to marry a girl whose face becomes cuter the angriest she is (that is, until she goes full snake). Everytime you mess, she will reward you with that cute angry face...Will Brooke keep that wonderful trait when she gets older?

I found many of Brooke's expressions here hilarious on account of them looking more like the sort of expressions Nina usually has, not the rather mature and collected Brooke. (And for some reason, her face in Panel 2 reminded me of Aggie in P&A...who knows why.)

I doubt they are that warlike in face-to-face. Tiffany just spouts tough talk and seconds later drops a sane statement that witches would not be a big deal given that currently they got Faith. Speaking of whom, Faith panicked when discovered she gets bitten, then bounced back to overconfidence after Layla proved to be not that dangerous - i.e. she simply acts like a shameless control freak. Others are tough when they think they know what's going on, but...
Then, if they would somehow discover what the team members are, why attacking JC and Katie, but not Charlotte? Remember, specifically witches are accepted in USA, but get "exterminate!" in Canada.

But why would Skye of all people get into melee with Katie? She isn't a wallflower anymore, but doesn't shows urges to "DEFEAT EVERONE" or attack anything that moves without a provocation. Maybe she could protect "her" Cerise, but the witch won't jump headfirst into such an obviously awkward situation either, so she probably would hang back too.

But that's as dumbly romantic as thinking that they can only be in love if they never fight, or if they exist in a permanent state of obsessive passion. Brooke could be feeling a small twinge of selfish possessiveness, or be annoyed that Ace isn't playing along with some vague script in her head, or be subconsciously looking for an excuse to break up with Ace so she can grab this really cute yaoi guy.

Or maybe <hideous sexist cliché alert>it's her time of the month and she's just feeling ratty</hideous sexist cliché alert>. Whatever.

That's what i was thinking as well, with the way that her hair is drawn, mingling into the wind and the leaves. Also explains why Ace has an ellipsis for a speech bubble... he didn't quite expect to hear "himself" say that, and is shocked (SHOCKED I tells ya!) to hear those words.
