I see Cerise has been Mana Ramping like shit.
"Summon Insect Horror"
Also, nice auto-get-back-on-head cap. ;)
And I'll point out that Jacqui is pro-Melissa and looks worried. She know something is going wrong here.

OK, nice trick Cerise. Now, when are you gonna stop fooling around and summon something dangerous?

Cerise, you might want to look up an old adage about something coming before the fall...
Does fit that Cerise found a summoning to use rather than something direct, as per her style.

Summon giant monster, check.
Now, let's see if she can't control it.

OK, betting time. Will Cerise lose control of it, endangering the other students (including Callie) and look like a fool for summoning it and get in trouble? Or will Melissa easily wipe the floor with it, making Cerise look foolish in the process?
Or both (it goes out of control, endangers others, and Melissa defeats it saving everyone).

I have an awful Tuesday's strip will simply be Cerise, tears in her eyes, standing under a shower of viscera screaming "MELISSA!"

you know, if you're going to be using forbidden magics infront of everyone, it's probably a good idea to be subtle about it.

That's one of Cerise's fatal flaws, she ain't subtle.

Re: Magick Chicks 16-11-12 Cerise
Yes, but that's why it won't work well for her even in the best case. I doubt she would calm down without at least fighting Mel to standstill herself rather than someone doing it for her.Ravenhull wrote:Does fit that Cerise found a summoning to use rather than something direct, as per her style.
Let's face it, Cerise isn't Addie who feels herself a rightful crown princess and thus doesn't have such problem to begin with.
I'd suspect a third party. Melissa receives unholy amount of boosting, yeah, but it's mostly a demo version. If this critter goes off the leash, kung-fu possesion probably isn't an adequate response to dealing with it seriously.vampire hunter D wrote:OK, betting time. Magical Transformation for Justice will upend a few of the plotlines slowly built up: the fact Melissa needs to keep it hidden, Tiff lying to Faith about it, and the faculty discovering what the heck is going on. No, Melissa will defeat it with guile and cunning, making Cerise look foolish.
Unless, of course, Cerise is smarter than she looks. Or luckier.

She is so Subtle!! Well...more subtle than a tactical nuke between the eyeballs anyway.Ravenhull wrote:That's one of Cerise's fatal flaws, she ain't subtle.
