Post by Adam_Arnold »

Aoi House Vol. 2 has been out for a little over a month now, and I'm sure you're wondering about that cool character chibi gallery in the back. Yep, you want to get the color art!

Well, the good news is that we've started to make them available online as an incentive for ya'll to vote for Aoi House at TopWebComics.net and BuzzComix.com.

They're chibi. They don't have ankles. XD

Ankles are for the anatomically correct.

Guys, don't make Shiei sad... T_T

But seriously, these chibis became the basic designs for the dancing chibi part in the flash anime. So they should seem a tad familiar (aside from the clothes).

I'm not trying to make anyone sad ... It was part of the comment "Chibi and anatomically correct is not the same"....

Yeah, I remember the Chibi versions from the Flash :D...

I like them, makes me think almost of a glimpse into their childhood, almost like "the pre-teen years"

I have no idea why this idea struck me, but anyone remember in the 1980's when they had a string of "adults as kids" cartoons? Flinstone Kids and a Pup Named Scooby-Doo as two examples?

For some reason seeing these two chibi images (two of eight) I almost see a spin-off AOI House like that, them as kids all at the same grade or middle school.
It gives one a great sense of satisfaction to do it in perfect unison. Michelle Cheung

Do the chibi-characters then trigger the same thought in your head too?

Not sure why but the more often I see them the more I see a "AOI House Kids" chibi character type of "spin-off" story.

Awesome work on them again Shiei!

Well... I don't think there would be an Aoi House Kids version... It just... doesn't sound right :D... I mean... to little boys end up joining a house full of oversexed Yaoi little fangirls?

When you put it that way it does sound um well okay so there would be minor problems with that idea
