The Happy Thread
Let's face it. We need something to offset the depressing stories that have been popping up in the Cranky Couch and How Was Your Your Day. So here's where you post all the things that have made you happy! Could be getting a promotion, could be seeing an old friend for the first time, could be watching your dog play in the backyard.
So I'll start: I'm happy because I finally got the chaos that is my college life into order and am about to embark on my most ambitious project in my creative writing career.

I has a happy that I got my PnP DnD game started again. And introduced a new player to DnD. And we had a blast.

Put a fresh set of strings on my guitar today. Nothing quite beats the feel of clean, unworn strings on the fingers; or the bright, clear sound of them.

The way they get after a few weeks of use when theyve gone soft, hard to get out of tune and actually dont cut your fingers in two. <3.

Re: The Happy Thread
I am happy because I am actually working during the day, with weekends & evenings off. That hasn't happened for so long, I almost don't know what to do with my off-time.
Oh wait, yes I do. D20 Modern on Tuesdays, D&D on Wednesdays & Saturday mornings, and as many indie rock shows as I can stand. Including (but not limited to) the lovely Vav Jungle this Sat. evening coming up. Normally my karaoke night, but I think my singing friends will understand if I bail for one night.

Sorta nerdy, but I got my first subscriber on Fanfiction.net. Considering the story just went up last night, I'd say that's pretty good!

Re: The Happy Thread
I took a nap earlier today, and it was the best sleep I've had in ages. Apparently, I was so soundly asleep that my pal Zeus came into my room not ten minutes after I turned in to get a book out of my room and I was already snoring. It's rare that I sleep so well.

Re: The Happy Thread
Happy as I'm slightly less dead that last week, and my connection seems to be behaving for the first time in a week too.
