Part of me thinks that Eva is going to try a different tactic on Sandra: Instead of making her feel empowered like she did with Marie, she’ll attempt to put her down; make her accomplishments seem worthless.

But I’m also thinking Eva’s going to operate on the assumption (based on Marie’s belief) that Sandra is a lesbian. Why else get that close to her and hold her chin like that besides making her feel more powerful? And the last time they met, she was groping her chest.

End of the day, just gotta see what the next strip brings.

Did Zoe ever warn her about Eva? She warned her of quick fame without any effort, but didn’t name anyone in particular.

I get the impression that Zoé has made it clear that she disapproves of Eva's activities -- Ingrid said something about Eva being Zoé's enemy -- but she may have left it too late and made it sound too much like a personal feud (which it obviously is), without pointing out any objective problems with Eva's management style.

It's another instance of Zoé's ego-driven my-way-or-the-highway attitude causing trouble. She's one of those people who's so busy being right she forgets to explain why.

However, I assume that Eva will run into a bit more self-confidence in Sandra than she expects. Possibly. Or there'll be some kind of deus ex machina to stop this plot strand from dragging on too long.

… Why am I suddenly hearing Jennifer Hale voicing Eva?

Hence my guess at Eva going to downplay her achievements in the last year.

And can we talk about how Sandra became a successful Canadian model/actress in a year? Say what you will about her, but Zoe had the right idea to ship Sandra back home in order to make her hunger for success. It could have just been executed without the severity.
