Hey, it's nice seeing that despite having a bad girl rep Marie still seems to have emotions!
(Also I wonder if Sandra _actually_ bought Marie's whole 'lesbian' thing earlier, if she got that worried about speaking with her in private like that!)

Well there's definitely some baggage that needs unpacking. Guess Marie has some real abandonment issues that puts things into better perspective. Without Sandra to confide into, she turned to Eva, who once again used Marie's emotionally vulnerable state to her advantage. And I'm predicting that if Sandra were to explain how and why exactly she just up and disappeared, it will only make Marie hate Zoe more and push her further into Eva's clutches, unless our red-headed heroine can find a way to convince her to let all the hate go.

And I'm guessing that Sandra is trying to be respectful and believe in Marie's 'lesbian chic' thing as she still wants to be her friend.

Sandra has her virtues, but subtle emotional sensitivity isn’t always one of them.

Yeah, agreed. I guess the idea is to show how far under Eva’s influence Marie has fallen.

Flotsam and Jetsam are ones to talk. They look as white as Ingrid. Since this strip is in black and white it's difficult to tell, but they lack shading so I'd estimate they don't have much melanin in their skin.
Well hopefully, Sandra can reach Marie although her reason for leaving isn't going to make Zoe look better than Eva.

Seriously, though, imagine these three on a swimsuit shoot together... between Marie, Sandra and Ingrid, there wouldn't be enough sunscreen to go around...
