I really want Sandra to rub her success in Zoe's face at least a little bit now so I really hope this is only a minor setback.
As a side note, that's some damn thirsty flirting from Sandra.

I just want to see Zoe broken by the realization she failed two pupils one of which picked herself up and made something of herself in spite of her failed mentorship.

It may be wishful thinking on her part. I do agree with the people who think that Plan 37-B was to kick her out and come groveling back. She will be very disappointed.
