So despite her plan, Ingrid doesn’t seem to have tried talking to Marie herself yet. Or perhaps she tried and failed. And Marie has hair to match her soul.

I confess I’m somewhat curious how sunk into depravity she is, or whether she’s still saving herself for the right man.
I think Ingrid may have tried. After all, she recognised Marie right away. Seems she hss seen this new look before.
Being in a modellling industry, she should recognise her right away whether she tried to talk or not.
I still believe Ingrid tried though.
An idiot on internet with memory problem.

Ingrid: There is still good in her!
Sandra: She's more liquor now than girl. Twisted and evil.
Now I’m hearing “Dance of Fates” as Sandra tries to drink Marie under the table.

Seeing Marie as she is now, I can only guess that she won't listen to Sandra - either she's come to some conclusion that Sandra abandoned her (or Eva gave her that idea) or she'll immediately go on the defensive the moment Sandra scolds her for her behavior.

Late onset Goth phase; can't blame Marie, really, since her best friend and crush not only never noticed her, but became the sex boi of a duo of sociopaths. Hopefully Sandra can maybe not fix, but confront the situation without having the rely upon her Drunk Sandra persona.

Marie never jumped at the chance to confess to Alex, though. She was so afraid of changing the dynamic, that the window of opportunity closed for her. Or at least she think it did. She definitely thought it was during Alex's 'gay' confession, but then she later found him with two girls. Still, though. She lacked bravery and confidence in herself to try and make him change how he thought of her.

It's like in manga's, where the MC's childhood friend with unrequited feelings gets angry at him for fawning or starting a relationship with another girl. It's dumb.

I'm thinking of how Sandra should approach this situation. I'm thinking directly, and opening with Palm Sized Meteor Strike Overdrive! for what she did to the waitress
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

That could actually be quite funny. I mean, heroically “unwise” (teenage drinking, yadda yadda), but potentially amusing.

Well, we can say that at best that it’s very unlikely to be easy, because drama.

The “X therefore Y” logic there is a little odd...

One might argue that Eva’s influence may have made a crucial difference there. Original-Marie would have been badly upset, but would likely have reacted by getting depressed and then eventually trying to talk to Alex. The Marie who’d been taught to respond to frustration with violence is a different beast. And she may have asked that oh-so-sophisticated Eva for advice.

Odd, but applicable nonetheless.

I understand the character archetype, and she is indeed at fault for her cowardice, if not lack of initiative. Just noting her entering such a phase is still understandable.

Oh Marie.... I dread to think how she's going to treat Sandra now. Its possible she'll treat anyone not as "high" in the modelling totem pole like dirt. If this is what she does to waitresses.... Sheesh.

Forget who she is Sandra, go defend your waiting sister!!!
"Hi. I'm NG Resonance. What would you like to talk about?"
"I like your music."
"I think you're lying."
"Hey -- I'm a fan. You're not supposed to argue with me."

Exactly, when Marie saw Alex kissing Eloise (as a guy), she ran off crying, then Eva took advantage of that for her plot against Zoe, turning Marie in who she is now.

Eva is a super-hot female version of Darth Sidious. Even this strips are classic dark side seduction.

All too true and something to remember: Zoe may have faults of her own, but this entire situation right now is because of Eloise and Eva's hatred for Sandra and Zoe, respectively. They messed around with the lives of two teenagers to get their revenge, and Marie is now a mean-spirited prima donna, while Alex's current status is unknown, but at the very least he probably considers himself bisexual now.

How awful, I hope Marie gets ejected for doing that. Unfortunately, I bet she won't. It's sad, she used to be so nice. :(

I kinda like Marie's hair like this.

Not the attitude though
