I don't think there is a country in Europe where the drinking age is above 18.

"Knows of" is always possible, of course, but then what?

First off, many of the more successful models, and Senna, operate internationally, so may mix with this crowd.

Second, she may know enough to be wary of Marie's new friend, or suspect her intentions

True enough. But we haven't previously had any suggestion that Ingrid's family connections extend to this sort of level. I dunno; I just don't get the feeling that there's supposed to be that kind of link there.

Well, yes; if Ingrid is acting as a good friend, she might well give Marie some kind of warning. (So might anyone who has a bit of mature good sense and who has Marie's best interests at heart.) But she's seemed a bit detached and fixated on her own little schemes so far. This may be a test of whether she's more helpfully interested in Marie's life generally.
