Eva really is putting on a good show, Palpatine could stand to take few pointers.

I'm a bit curious if this might lead to Marie re-affirming her affection towards Alex, or alternatively getting some confidence so that she can actually have a conversation with him about it.

I wonder if Marie will pull the "Oh wait, I'm supposed to be a Lesbian!" card with this one.

Could be wrong, but it feels like Eva is moving a bit too fast here. Give Marie a bit more time to settle into the 'bitchy' persona Eva in mentoring her into. Like ordering makeup people and assistants around.
The way she's blushing here indicates she's still mostly "old" Marie. If Eva had given it a bit more time, Marie would have worn an excited grin at this prospect.
Impatience seems to be her Achilles heel.

Unless I'm reading the situation wrong. Of course, it's more fun this way, which trumps logical plot anyday.
