Plus, all this cunning (ahem) is causing Eloise grammatical problems. Jean becomes "my" and "his" in the same sentence. Meanwhile, Nadine's kinkiness gets mildly transgressive. And how far did she have to throw those trousers to make them appear that small?

Anyhow, it looks like the plot twist here might be Eloise finding she has slightly stronger real feelings for Alex than she wants (hence the VR kiss going "naturally"). But there's a lot of ways this could go.

Either would work for her purposes, except of course that "Jean's" cover would be blown in a pants-off situation. So I imagine that "Jean" will aim to keep Alex stringing along in sexual confusion, and then Eloise will, if she thinks it's necessary and/or amusing, go the whole way.

Really, though, the risky question is whether she keeps Nadine around as her mother's voice. It makes the choreography easier, but it also risks Alex blundering into the wrong room at the wrong moment.

And we readers can see another risk; that the confused Alex will discuss his situation with one of his friends - whose brains aren't so hormone-addled, or at least not in the same way.

When we were first introduced to Nadine I thought she was the simple minded girlfriend of Eloise, but I'm starting to think she's the real brain of this bunch.

So I'm gathering from the improv line about the VR kiss that part wasn't in the script, although Nadine says it went more naturally than she thought it would so that implies she had prior knowledge of it before hand. I would dearly love to actually see their game plan for all this.
