He's so clever and sharp, using reverse psychology on her. Look at how his brain is working so brilliantly under these circumstances. He's got her in the palm of his hand.

At the risk of being johnny-raincloud: is Alex really this hard up for attention?
A guy he's never met before invites him back to his place and snogs him after a bit of VR time. Alex doesn't ask any questions, or finds that strange. Then his new date gets called away, just in time for his "cousin" to saunter in half-naked. Most girls would freak out over some guy they've never seen before seeing them that way. Instead, she treats it like no big, plops down on the couch with him and takes off her top. Alex doesn't find that strange either.
I get that Eloise is smokin' and Alex is a nerd/virgin, but c'mon. So was Ace and even he handled himself better than that; including when he was in the shower with Brooke.

Now all we need is for him to meet Pierre.

Yeah, but Ace was a girl when he was in that shower

Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Alex was never the one that vomits in front of a beautiful girl... it's just when he sees a beautiful girl, he imagines them vomitting on HIM and that disgusts him...Azrael wrote:*urp....BLOOOORGH!

Yes, I am aware. I was just very outside predicting the nightmare becoming the reality.

I think a lot of boys his age would be reacting the same way. He was just making out with someone he thought was a guy and then a scantily clad girl comes in without any explanation. Does anyone know what they would do in that situation if it's never happened before? And Ace isn't a good example seeing as how he was changed into a girl which affected him physically and mentally.Gotoh wrote:At the risk of being johnny-raincloud: is Alex really this hard up for attention?

Quite. Sure, Alex has seen (and felt) Sandra naked, and he's got a bit of a serious thing for her. (One might say that he's quite a lucky guy.) But the more important fact is that he's a teenage boy. Even older males who've been through that stage forget quite how serious the raging hormones and social confusion can be at his age. This is comedy, but Alex's responses are quite realistic.
Plus, the vomit hallucinations may be kicking in, which won't help.

Contrary to Ma3-verse logic and comedy, in general, people's brains don't shut off just because they see skin.brasca wrote:I think a lot of boys his age would be reacting the same way. We're not talking about a crisis situation.brasca wrote:Does anyone know what they would do in that situation if it's never happened before?
Ace was still attracted to her, regardless. The point still stands.brasca wrote:And Ace isn't a good example seeing as how he was changed into a girl which affected him physically and mentally.

Really, though, that thing was so small, does taking it off really make a difference? She was showing so much underboob and cleavage, it's practically the same as taking off a wristband.

@captainswift: I'm not disagreeing with that.
My point is: if someone walked in dressed like Eloise and saw a complete stranger on their couch, I doubt they'd plop down and start taking it off for them. You'd expect them to be shocked and embarrassed that a complete stranger just saw them half-naked. Yet Alex doesn't find that odd, 'cuz he's gone brain dead from a kiss and a bit of skin.
That's why I said Ace handled himself better.

I feel like Alex should be cluing in on the fact that Eloise doesn't just look like Jean, she looks exactly like Jean. Purpose's of drama I suppose.
Also is Eloise legitimately annoyed about the comparison, or just hamming it up? I mean someone saying that you look like yourself doesn't seem particularly insulting.
