The Ol' Twin sister routine. Classic.

Yeah. "Oh, hi cutie. You must be my twin brother's friend. Hey, move up on that couch, willya?" In the circumstances, it's actually among the less stupid options available. Relatively speaking. Relatively. The fact that it borrows dialogue from a bunch of porn movies is beside the point.

Of course, the snag which those two schemers don't know about is that Alex may either (a) have concluded that he's gay, or (b) suffer a relapse of his cute girl/vomit association reflex. Such a shame, when Eloise has put quite so much effort into the slutty lingerie (nice art, by the way, though Alex's right hand seems to be huge in panel 3). But the best-laid plans of mice an' men...

Or maybe Eloise is about to deliver a very interesting speech about the effects of lasagne.

Omg Alex looks so adorably vulnerable and passively game in panel 3.

Good point, I made the fix on that one. Thanks.

Eloise is definitely going to have to improvise something in a hurry. Alex may be oblivious about a great many things, but even he has to realize Jean looks remarkably feminine.

Like someone said, it's the Old Twin Sister routine.

Of course it wouldn't work in reality, even with that line. So?

Hoping it's not the twin sister routine. Seeing as how everyone has guessed it, kinda feels like it would lose any power/humor if that turns out to be the outcome.

Meh - at most, we've anticipated one or two strips ahead, assuming we're right. And not every strip has to be a surprise. And we don't know exactly how Eloise will attempt to execute the gambit, nor how Alex (with his current specific problems with attractive women) will react to it.

I think it would be pretty funny if Alex immediately saw through whatever wool they try to pull over his eyes. Unlikely to happen since it would probably cut short potential shenanigans, but it would be amusing.

We haven't seen a great deal of Alex (that I recall anyway), but he does seem a reasonably smart cookie. So is he clever enough to put together the puzzle pieces that have accumulated so far?

I don't see why he wouldn't be. He saw through his sister easily enough and, when Sandra wound up in his bed, he had sense enough to save his *** by hiding all those pictures of her.

About the only time Alex seems dense is when it comes to Marie's affections for him. So I'd at least give him fair odds of realizing "Jean" is really a girl.
