I'm pretty sure Ingrid represents the type of opportunity that Christophe has had too much of and found hollow. But the opportunity for artistic intimacy with Alex while Marie watches may push his unresolved feelings for the former and his unrequited feelings for the latter in some interesting, embarrassing and hilarious directions.

At least I'm hoping so.

Jeez Marie has some self-esteem issues.

Don't confuse self-esteem issues with traditional modesty. One can meet plenty of people with highly functional nudity taboos who have no significant problems with self-esteem.

Marie seems to be a nervous virgin who's never had a straight guy looking at her naked body, who has plenty enough self-esteem to know that a straight guy would like doing so, and who's still a little worried about what it would imply.

We know that Marie sees Ingrid as very good-looking, and being perfectly curvy is just one of Ingrid's assets. But knowing that one is less curvy than that Swedish bombshell is hardly a self-image problem. It's just realism.

Marie isn't Kiley; she seems quite confident about having a slim, limber figure, if anything. Remember her warm-up exercises when she was working with Sandra.
