Suppose it was funnier to giggle about Tatiana and Sandra's rivalry than a never-heard-that-one-before kind of joke like baguettes and their, ahem, "familiar" shape. Just guessing, of course.

It's not her undoing; it's her. Or rather, it's a facet of her obsessively focused and neurotic-psychotic personality.

And someone like that is never going to be entirely contented with her life, so don't worry, the horrid mean lady is going to have plenty of bad stuff happen to her, so you can get a nice warm glow from that. She's fun to watch, though, and personally, I kind of like it when she scores a local victory; she has a really sexy evil smirk.
