Well, if she doesn't know the freckled one's name, probably not her in #150.

She may know Sandra's name, but find it difficult to say it - except when ceremonially swearing vengeance. The "Who is she?" may be more symbolic than literal; she needs to know more about Sandra, not just her name, in order to crush her like an insect.

I'm not sure Eloise could find anything that would be considered dirt by modeling community standards. The wild stuff in Montreal would probably be tame by their standards. Maybe Eloise will publish pictures of Sandra from her awkward teen years, but that would probably increase her geek cred and fan base.

Okay, the story's got me interested, but her character design is so flipping close to the website gal that I can't really tell who's who. I even went back and started rereading from the beginning of the video game modeling stuff to try and figure out why the girl who had been gaga over everything Sandra was doing was now flipping out and getting so angry.

I just don't see enough of a difference between the two characters to tell them apart.

I think that, for now, Eloise is just looking for some kind of handle on who the hell Sandra is. After all, she must basically be unknown in the Paris modelling community. Being usurped by a total newbie is going to be another thing that's bugging Eloise.

To be fair, Nadine is trying to distract Eloise from her jealous rage here. There's probably a lot of vanity involved ("Of course my kisses are more powerful than jealous fury!"), but she's not getting off on raw evil-is-sexy.

On the other hand, Nadine seems to be a bit of a spoiled brat ("Daddy will buy me a new one"), and that type often does get off on the thrill of craziness - in fiction, anyway. She may see Eloise as a bit of rough.

Honestly, we criticise the characters in these comics for being obsessed with sex, and then, when one of them isn't obsessed with sex...

The Dark Side is strong with this one if it can trump offers of sexy time in the Mà3 verse.

Peopls simply point out the unusual...ness (?) of this. It makes Eloise stand out and appear more focused on revenge than any other character we've met. If it had been something else which'd have distracted her from Nadine, reactions would have been the same, though more positive if it had been about something else.

No for sometinhg completely different...
