No, sorry honey. However well you do the shadows on the face thing, if you need an actual naked flame to light the picture, you don't cut it as a dark force of evil. It's pyrokinesis or the second string.
Despite which, Eva clearly needs her own name tag, I should point out.

Who says that's Eva? And Eva does have her own name tag. Just not on this strip...
Does that mean that's not Eva? Well, no, not really, but seriously, if I tag, it'd take out the mystery.

I'm afraid that you drew the face too well. She was recognisable, even in shadow.
Incidentally, I notice that the last strip of the volume gives us a verbal call-back to the first, rather than a visual reference. ("Everything is glamorous".) That's cool.

Eva has a "hime cut" and a bigger chest. Whoever this is has shorter hair and a smaller chest.

I don't know if anyones thought of this, but that picture is of Sandra as Camile, or whatever the characters name is, and who related to that has a thing with fire?? The girl who was supposed to play Camile at the convention! It's her! I bet it is.

That girl wasn't really stitched up by Sandra - if she was swearing vengeance on anyone, it'd surely by Tristran.
No, that's Eva (with her hairstyle messed up by the water and details of her appearance flexing a little sue to artistic license). Damnit, her face is recognisable.
Of course, stretching a point, we could always get a League of Sandra Enemies, in best Scary-Go-Round style. Eva, Senna, Tatiana, Carmen-Model-Girl - it'd be the ultimate evil supermodel team-up!
(Oh, and Marie's geek hero-worship still seems to be running a bit worryingly wild.)

Technically, Eva has no qualms with Sandra either. Her qualms is with Zoe.
Still not saying who it is though...
Also not saying if I know or not.

Re: 2014-08-01 Wild and glamorous
Everybody's just leaving the party, after being thrown out. So unless the last panel is from an hour or so later, I doubt that could be her. Even if her hair were still wet (and there's no sign that it is, since it isn't dripping or anything), it wouldn't change her hair length, or her bust size. Plus, Eva bleaches the fringe covering the right side of her forehead. That's a lot of differences to ignore.Spidrift wrote:No, that's Eva (with her hairstyle messed up by the water and details of her appearance flexing a little sue to artistic license). Besides, wouldn't Eva's beef be with Zoé, rather than Sandra? After all, she thought Zoé was the one who put Sandra up to embarrassing her in public, followed by Zoé insulting her, then tossing her into the pool.
edit: Ninja'd.

Looks more like Eloise to me.Eisu wrote:Technically, Eva has no qualms with Sandra either. Her qualms is with Zoe.

The fact Eva may not even know Sandra's name also hints at it. And she almost certainly doesn't know about the Carmen Chamelia gig.
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Re: 2014-08-01 Wild and glamorous
I don't imagine that Eva would have any qualms about doing anything to Sandra. I'd assume that getting groped in public would annoy her quite enough to make a vow of vengeance possible - and Zoé's threats notwithstanding, striking at Zoé through Sandra might feel safer than striking directly at Zoé. And it wouldn't take much research to determine Sandra's name and current big gig.Eisu wrote:Technically, Eva has no qualms with Sandra either. Her qualms is with Zoe.
But I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I quite like the idea of a League of Evil Supermodels, personally.

I'm expecting volume 2 to be about a feud between Team Zoé/Sandra vs Team Eva/Eloise

Such an unholy alliance would be awesome indeed!Spidrift wrote:Of course, stretching a point, we could always get a League of Sandra Enemies, in best Scary-Go-Round style. Eva, Senna, Tatiana, Carmen-Model-Girl - it'd be the ultimate evil supermodel team-up!

And you know, if one wanted to go the very "dark" route (they won't, here) one archetypical type of worse enemy is the scorned ex-admirer, so just imagine Marie ending up being the evil group's "leader" (reasons for her "switch" would be finding out that Sandra is a "rival" for Alex's affections). Again, totally unlikely, in our universe at least, but I'd like to think of that possibility as a fun thought-experiment.

If so I'd love to hear how she could be her arch enemy, but seeing as how she's got her hands literally full in Menage a 3 I don't see a crossover at this time.
As for the other suspects this person doesn't look like Tatiana or Senna who are the only other known people who would hate Sandra. Eva wouldn't have a problem attacking Zoe through Sandra, but she wouldn't be so cartoonish about destroying Sandra in particular. Eloise seems like the most likely suspect. Even though it would make more sense to hate Tristan for giving the job to Sandra we don't know much about Eloise. We've seen and heard enough from Eva so as to conclude she hates Zoe more and thus wouldn't be obsessed, but we don't know Eloise's mindset so she could be obsessed with the person she lost her job to even though it was purely accidental on Sandra's part.
