Re: 2014-02-14 What the hell
Actually, this trip has already gone about as well as any 3-5 day period could go for him. Given his weird combination of irresistible babe-magnetism, vanilla tastes, and stunning lack of real personality or social skills, a series of short term relationships of various sorts should suit him down to the ground. This way, he can achieve multiple kinds of satisfaction without the problems he would otherwise suffer.
He's had a trip to Paris (without having to do any of the boring sightseeing stuff that isn't his style but that Senna and then Sandra both assumed he'd want); he's screwed an exotic international beauty, without her more exotic tastes biting him on (or doing anything else to) his arse; and now he's had another beautiful woman provide him with hospitality, unconditional admiration, and a passionate parting kiss, without any of that difficult, messy relationship stuff that he doesn't understand and can't handle.
If he also gets a new job out of this, that's the icing on the cake. But it was already a very nice cake.

Too bad (for him) that he didn't walk back in a bit earlier...Spidrift wrote:In fact, it even permits Gary to walk back into Ma3 tomorrow, if G&D want him to interrupt Zii and Amber's discussion of himself.
That was a lovely ending to this arc...and if they do both wind up working for the same company, but in different cities, that will leave a lot of possibilities for various occasional future interactions between Sandra and Gary. (So the ship sails on away from the iceberg with its hull intact.)

I myself think that if or when Gary and Sandra meet again one or both of them will be in a relationship with someone else.

But then docks in New York, where the passengers disembark and get on with their lives...Whisky-Tango-Foxtrot wrote:...and if they do both wind up working for the same company, but in different cities, that will leave a lot of possibilities for various occasional future interactions between Sandra and Gary. Yeah - employment aside, Sandra and DiDi sometimes talk on the 'phone or by e-mail, so I can see a few greetings being passed between them from time to time. A bit of long-distance UST for character colour, without stopping either character from getting on with their respective plotlines.

Hum... He also was forced to wear a SM sub outfit and got his butt spanked hard for quite a long time. I don't know if it compensates, but not everything was perfect. Although being with Yuki may have Gary get used to physical pain.Spidrift wrote:Actually, this trip has already gone about as well as any 3-5 day period could go for him. (...)

Hey, as well as he could reasonably hope for. All part of life's rich pattern, into every life a little rain must fall, put it down to experience, et cetera, et cetera. And anyway, Tatiana doesn't seem to have done him any permanent damage.

Once he's home I wonder how long it will take for Gary to mention Sandra kissing him at a terrible moment around Didi.

Yeah, that's a bit of plot potential we may yet see realised.Hoosier_Jedi wrote:Once he's home I wonder how long it will take for Gary to mention Sandra kissing him at a terrible moment around Didi.

Nice. No nosebleeds or passing out. Gary only has one hurdle left to overcome: going excessively gaga over a simple gesture of affection.
Then again, having the girl dip the guy is somewhat atypical.

I would have probably gone excessively gaga as well.
Anyway, YAY!

Or Yuki. They're on a break rather than really separated, but given how she reacted to anyone wanting to steal "her" Zii, I don't think her reaction would be any better. Or she'll go in one of her self-depreciating crying frenzy.Hoosier_Jedi wrote:Once he's home I wonder how long it will take for Gary to mention Sandra kissing him at a terrible moment around Didi.

Re: 2014-02-14 What the hell
Do remember, to be fair to Yuki, that she explicitly dumped Gary, whereas Zii ran out on her in the middle of the night. And Yuki knows full well that Gary has screwed Sonya since she left.
She's obviously carefully avoiding thinking too much about this, but she blanked it out when Sonya boasted about banging Gary to her face; Gary mentioning in passing that he just kissed another girl is petty stuff.
