Count me in for enjoying our blushing dominatrix. She's so freaking cute!

If Gary gave her the swirly she would never let him go. NEVER! N-E-V-E-R!! She would keep him chained to a doghouse in her room until the police came to rescue him.

Well, this seems to have been testing out some stuff she has in mind for Domenico, when she gets the chance. Evidently, she reckons that her being in a dominant position here means that she isn't, well, giving of herself.

He's evidently also a bit uncertain about the idea of sex with Senna, too, while he's sober. But nonetheless, he's accumulating these experiences - stuff that some men would consider boasting material.

Personally, I reckon there was a passing good fairy just off-panel and invisible back in strip #1, who read Gary's thoughts wishing for more fun and excitement and sexual experience, and promptly changed reality to give him a chance for exactly that. But the fairy's first spell didn't actually achieve enough, because Gary didn't take enough of the chance, so the fairy has been making return visits every few dozen strips to given him more of what he wants. Good and hard. If he doesn't start being a bit more proactive, the next round of wish-granting he gets could be really traumatic.

@Spidrift: I would love for that to end up being the premise behind the strip. Good fairies trying to make things right for Gary, but constantly failing, because he won't DO anything with the chances they give him.

Dragging in the actually supernatural at this point would be crass, but as a metaphor for Gary's gormlessness, it works fine.

Nah, that'd get too predictable. If you're gonna do that, then let Gary surprise the fairies (and the readers!) every now and then by actually jumping at a chance once in a while. A LONG while.

This being set in Montréal, I can't help but imagine said fairy was drunk on Unibroue beers. Heck, I can totally imagine she just went through Robert Charlebois' personal reserve he sold her at a price when he went teetotal and withdrew from the brewery.

This is set in Paris. Ma3 is in Montreal
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

I assumed Spidrift meant Ma3 when he mentionned strip #1.

Sorry, yes. Talking about Gary puts my thoughts on the Ma3 track.

Robert Charlebois is now a teetotaller ? How sad. :(

The way he explained it makes it not so sad. At some point he caught himself hiding to drink, decided it was a totally unhealthy slope, and swore off alcohol (and remember, he's been friends with Janis Joplin - he knows a thing or two about alcoholism and self-destruction). He aknowledges fondly that he's got pleasure from booze along his life, but that at his present age he prefers to quit drinking in order to make room for other pleasures.

Twice that?

For a grand, I'd have expected at least to keep him overnight.

(Since surely no one setting up a Montréal interview from Paris with no flight booked would expect to leave that day.)

Fashion business. Serious players don't get out of bed in the morning for less than five figures.
