If this was designed to show that Sandra isn't geeky enough for the game company without Gary around, I think it only shows that these guys need better taste in movies. Gary may be excused because he's such a Transformer dork, but this is not stuff one should expect a self-respecting tasteful geek to know.

Also, I know plenty of people in the game industry who can't speak English worth crap. I think they simplified the language issue because it would be a hindrance to the comic, not a feature.

both of them need to get yuki'd in the nuts hard enough to prevent them from further contaminating the human gene pool with such taste in films.

it's also possible that dark matter games isn't actually based in paris; that they just hauled everyone out there for the trade show & now they're using a rented studio until they get home.

i would assume she got some contact info from lavali or one of the other dark matter people at the show, most likely while she was negotiating sandra's contract with them.
