The joke being, Tristan certainly doesn't love Sandra. Verdict is still to be determined for other people (Lavali seems at least neutral).

Absolutely. Lavali is the only other employee (as opposed to executive) for whom we even have a name as yet, and so far she seems to be some kind of junior office gopher or Tristan's sidekick. If that's correct, even if she thinks that Sandra is cool, she won't be able to do much for her.

(Not that one should be careless about offending gophers or sidekicks who might know where the bodies are buried, of course. But most don't.)
