Aaaaand click.
Are French games shops really infested with mini-geeks who are stunned to see an attractive woman? I'd have thought that even the geeks over there maintain some Gallic cool. Or is this Sandra being recognised from her Youtube stardom?

I'm thinking the nerds/geeks in the video game store recognize Sandra as Carmen Chamelia. Now will Gary look at Sandra and think she looks like Carmen Chamelia?

Gary is Mr Fanservice in his native art style. The Klark Kent glasses disguise has been ineffective ever since he first took his shirt off.

I like both art styles but I think Giz's art style is more refined if you know what I mean.

Okaaaaay! Thanks for clearing my question from a month ago! Sandra is a few weeks behind Ma3, timeline wise. Awesome.

I wonder how this will play, though. Will we have a double take on each strip, or will they be actually different while happening at the same time ?

Timeline-wise, they're actually just a days behind, not weeks: http://www.ma3comic.com/strips-ma3/i_mean_human-aloneMoonshadowDark wrote:Okaaaaay! Thanks for clearing my question from a month ago! Sandra is a few weeks behind Ma3, timeline wise. Awesome.

Re: 2013-09-03 Strange characters
The former sounds like it would get a bit boring, unless it's done really well. I'm guessing that we'll get a certain amount of interlacing (one event in Ma3 Thursday, the next in SotR Friday, a third in Ma3 Saturday), and maybe characters wandering off into adjacent rooms or whatever at times. (Just because three people are in the same city participating in the same story doesn't mean that they have to be in the same building all the time.) We could even get cutaways to other characters entirely in one comic while the other carries this plot. Anyway, we'll see.Bambikles wrote:I wonder how this will play, though. Oh, and for those who like to compare art styles:
That looks like the exact same moment to me; I imagine the two artists taking the same preliminary sketch as a close guide. I have to say that Eisu makes Sandra more attractive for me (it's probably just the bigger hair), while Giz is nicer to Senna than Eisu is (Eisu gives her too sharp a chin and a fixed scowl, while Giz gives her softer features and a pout). Gary looks more stunned and dim with Giz, with a hint of his recurrent bad posture, more cartoony and blank and upright with Eisu.

That is the sweetest! I love continuity like this!
Everyone's cute in both panels, in such different ways!
