Wow, that's a real 'Liberty at the Barricades' pose in panel two, isn't it? Inspiring! The Character leads a rebellion against her creator, now THAT'S meta!
Things aren't shaping up so good for Tristan, though. What was it he said about Sandra? "Your moods change quickly too, don't they?"

Well, eventually, yes, but first would be the meteoric rise to the "Meme-of-the-Week" status, which gets you to A-list very briefly. And then comes the drop to C-list when everyone forgets your name. Which is why I predicted it some strips in the future.empath wrote:"...fall to C-list status..."
Um, fall? Given Sandra's current status, moving to C-list would still be a step UP. ;)

That's not his lower lip, that's exposed teeth due to an embarrassed grin.bejammin2000 wrote:So... in the first panel. Who thinks that Tristan has a HUUUUUUGE bottom lip?

And now, Sandra goes from SOTR's plot object, to its genuine subject and protagonist. I like it.

I missed it too.DinoJake wrote:.....Wow.onethousandnames wrote:Gee, you'd think the creators of a game with a character named Chamelia would be less surprised the players want her to be like a chameleon.
On a scale of one to ten, how sad is it that I just got that?
What's worse is that in this strip we see her full name is Carmen Chamelia. (Karma Chameleon?)

Did anyone else think that was Sandra's top on the floor in panel 3?

No - that was the sound effect of Tristan' 'phone ringing in his pocket. The audience would surely have reacted dramatically if Sandra had flashed them.JTheCreator wrote:Did anyone else think that was Sandra's top on the floor in panel 3?
And Tristan is very boring by Ma3-universe standards. A one-note ring tone?

But, that's what Tristan is doing! Everyone knows gamers don't want games that are fun to play. they want dark edgy themes with deep stories that ake long cut scenes to tell, as well as violent and gore in the gameplay. Any gaming developer or company exec knows this.Ravenhull wrote:I'm putting a strong, but not definite, possibility that the phone call will be "I told you not to mess with a winning formula... now lets get back to what they want..."
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

I realized this. I just couldn't tell that the symbol was a ringtone until I saw panel 4.

Ha ha ha ha, yeah, I had originally wanted to put a song in, but I racked my brain and couldn't think of a good one for Tristan and decided to go one note ^o^ I think it might actually suit him better now.Spidrift wrote:No - that was the sound effect of Tristan' 'phone ringing in his pocket.
