Savior of the Universe!

What?

She seems to be handling the booth babe job fairly well so far. I guess we'll see if she decks Mr. Roman Hans next strip.

Come on, Sandra - your fist is at the ready. I'm imagining panel 5 is the punch after the pinch.

She throws that punch and it may cost her one budding modelling career. Booth babes are supposed to endure the insult, after all they may get groped, fondled and pinched several times over the course of a convention. Roman Hands has many relatives and friends, unfortunately.

She's worked tables in a restaurant where putting up with the odd leer was a path to better tips. And she's worked as Senna's PA. I'm not sure that she'll actually regard this as that bad a job.

Which part of Poland? And which Germany?

(Hint: There is, I understand, no patch of earth which has always been part of Poland whenever Poland has existed. And Germany was a geographical expression, not a country, for most of history. Though the thing I like is the Polish national monument ... in the outskirts of Vienna.)

Ontological torture, basically.

Indeed, an animated historical map of Poland would prove VERY useful to anyone the least interested in the history of the country. But I believe at least the area around Varsaw has always been in every Polish state. Fun fact: Poland's contemporary borders are close to the ones of the first Polish kingdom.

EDIT: I've found a map on wikipédia. Here's the French wikipedie entry for history of Poland. It has much more maps than the English one.

I know, and if this comic (like its predecessor) has any sort of lesson, it's that these slimeballs do have good connections. Mr. Hands there may even become an important figure in her future, and part of the comic.

Her poor bottom will be bruised, but I guess it comes with the job. Sandra is doing well so far by keeping the smile on her face. I hope more than 15 minutes has passed since the show opened.

What is the reference behind "Roman Hands". I understand the "hands" part, but why "Roman" ? :-??
Is this a jab at Latin ("roman") people ? :-\

Only one I can come up with is about how it would confuse the French, make them not sure who they're surrendering to......
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.
