Not sure I understand Sandra's comment about 1996. Does she mean the counter feels outdated ?

Yeah. 1996 would be about when I first encountered the things. (They're still around on legacy pages, but no, they don't, ahem, count for much nowadays.) I guess that professional Web cartoonists will be intensely up-to-date on this topic, even if their characters do still use snail mail.

It's interesting that Tatiana the fashion PA is behind the times on this stuff. I guess she focusses too hard on making Domenico happy and eliminating competition.

I also like how the back-and-forth between Sandra's dumb luck and Tatiana's spittle-flecked scheming comes out about even - either of them can win out in any given strip. Better than having either of them look like the perpetual idiot victim figure.

Who says she is? She's not trying to honestly track visitors, she's trying to destroy Sandra's morale. It might not even be a "live" counter, just a static image that says "00000001".

Haha, scire one win for Sandra. And yes she needs someone to promote her. Shouldn't Delmonico have a PR rep on staff?
