Sandra, beware, the last thing you want is for the next 'discovery' of that photographer to be the baker you have the hots for.

Ohhh... Sandra parle français! Je l'adore encore plus maintenant! :ymblushing:
Big D : "You have to admire the amount of thought the ladies are putting into this. Although I can't help feeling that they are adding 2+2 and getting -3.54."
Spidrift : G&D don't believe in karma. [...] it explains why they drive some posters here into such frenzied anger.
crimzontearz : "When a pornstar calls you and tells you "come down now, I met the cunnilingus GOD"....you LISTEN"
themacnut : "Seriously. For many guys, having women after them to "use" them for their sexual prowess is far, far better than being ignored by women. Of course the guys thinking this will mainly be the ones ignored by women."

Careful, Sandra. You'll develop detectable body fat.

And can one get carrot cake in posh Parisian boulangeries? It doesn't seem to fit the style. (Honest question. I'd love to try it if one can.)

Anyhow, nice to see that the new lust object has a sense of humour.

I'm aware of this, but my point was it shouldn't be a huge surprise that Sandra speaks French; I mean, I know Montreal is a relatively Anglo-friendly city, but it seems like a waitress really ought to know the language.

Poor Sandra, he was just kidding. Perhaps Pierre will make it up to her by taking her out on a date.

Well, the "Rüeblitorte" seems to have started as a Swiss speciality but has certainly found its way into German cafés and bakeries.
Thus it doesn't seem to far fetched that you might find it in France, too.

Any French around who could comment on this?

Paging Bambikles...

Yahbutt, anyhows... In a boulangerie? Alongside all those high-gloss dark chocolate slices and polychromatic macarons? Bit ... agricultural, n'est pas?

Yet another reason to visit Paris once again, do some research on food.

By the way, as far as I know it is the pâtisserie where they prepare the fancy stuff..

Pierre said he baked it himself so it might not even be for sale at the shop, just something he was doing at the back.... is my theory...
