Years from now, when trying to figure out what destroyed Paris, these four panels will be rigorously documented.

Okay, no problem getting Sandra to go back to the bakery from now on. Though she may be strangely conflicted when she has to do the trip in lingerie.

And we note from the tags that this fellow has a name, so it's even more likely that he'll be back. I still reckon that the conflict between "boulangerie" and "model diet regime" should be extreme, though, and it may just have got worse. ("Belle Lapin Sandra? You do not wish to eat our croissants? What is the problem with the croissants?")

I have to concur, Pierre is gorgeous...and so stereotypically so, "the gorgeous French guy". :))
Pierre... This name is so old-fashioned. French characters always get old-fashioned names. :p

As for the diet, viennoiseries are not the only thing one can buy. The meringues are exclusively protein + sugar, no fat!
On a last thought, where the hell did Sandra bought her croissant ? :-o
2 euros, really ? This is incredibly expensive. Prices are high in Paris, but this is just ridiculous. This isn't a luxury bakery, but a rather ordinary one. The usual price for a croissant is less than 1 euro, be it ordinaire (with margarine, ironically this one is really shaped like a crescent) or au beurre (with butter, straight ones).

I think I'll have much additional fun reading Sandra's misadventures. :ymdevil:

How do you know that this isn't a luxury boulangerie? It's in a district also occupied by a world-famous fashion photographer - surely high-class to the point of silliness. Maybe those counter displays are mostly full of multi-coloured macarons made with licorice, foie gras, or star anise.

Or is there some subtlety of French shop front semantics to which I'm not attuned?

Cute redhead. High survival ability anywhere that sunburn isn't the biggest threat.
