You walked right into that one, Dilly, though I suppose there were worse options on the table.

It's not just her on her own - though she's clearly one of those rather likable people who are shy and nervous with strangers, but who become a lot of fun to be around when they get to know you. It's the way that this group has fallen into this pattern of friendly but slightly spiky banter. For comics about a group of friends, the Ma3 family don't very frequently do this sort of friend-comedy.

Which reminds me - is Zii late for this meeting of the club?

It was on the table??

Anyhow - shouldn't Ramona take her turn at demonstrating? She implicitly volunteered. And I love how Ruby's expression shifted from panic in the first panel, where she was worrying about everything being too much for her, to that cute look of interest in panel 4. Way to get her relaxed with the idea.

And at this rate, Andy is going to be a very lucky guy.

Very clever Ramona. She's definitely a match for Junghan.

Probably conveniently late for the sake of pacing. I imagine she has quite a lot to teach Ruby.

Not too much. We now have just seven strips to go to the end of the volume, which I'm 80% sure will be about the resolution of Ruby and Andy's date, and which will certainly have to involve some kind of breakpoint.

(I guess it could involve Ruby and Dillon in bed together on Friday night, with Ruby dreaming about what's to come the next night - but that would seem a bit anticlimactic.)

Anyway, I suspect that Ruby will soon have learned quite enough to get her through her first time. Though she may refer back to this brains trust for further ideas...

She has to show up at the same time as Angel, right? :ymdevil:

As Angel didn't show up with Ramona, I'm guessing that the club will generally have to do without Angel from now on. Ramona doesn't need the moral support any more, and Zii is pretty sure to be there...

Ouch.

Anyhow, we've all failed to note the huge unexpected revelation in this strip; that it is actually possible for Dillon to feel something approximating embarrassment.

That was terrible... but I still laughed.

As for Dillon's embarrassment, I had a feeling if anyone could make Dillon feel embarrassed, it would be Julian, due to their history and Julian's new intentions.
