Beware the eyeless glasses, Angel!

Or don't. Wanna see what Ruby's thinking here...

Also, *life* hasn't existed since the beginning of time. And the first life on Earth was asexual.

Perhaps Angel believes Earth, Life, the entire Universe... you know, 6000 years ago? :P

That or androgen insensitivity... nothing hermaphroditic about it.

calm down Anger, I mean Angel

Still intersex if she was born with/developed one of the gazzilion characteristics associated with the condition, but the authors could just be going with a definition in which they included the technical condition mentioned by Ramona as 'intersex'. Since, you know. It's intersex. Even more loosely defined than 'actual biological sex'.

for the most part hermaphrodite = having functional members of both genders

while intersex includes true hermaphrodism and what Ramona has

Definitely not Turner, that's when the second X is completely or partially missing, not XY unless I'm completely msireading. Would likely be partial or complete AIS as the other person said yeah

It's still rather refreshing to see that unlike Angel, Ramona is actually smiling and even blushing when talking about herself. Even after all that's happened she seems like she's having a good time. I'm liking her character quite a bit, she's sweet.

Though they're yelling, I think it's incredibly sweet that Angel is very protective of Ramona and doesn't like how Zii and Dillon are looking at her as if she was some kind of alien specimen to gawk at.

Definitely not Turner, since that's X0, not XY.

Almost certainly AIS, unless she's strongly simplifying, since anything else that would lead to an XY individual having unmasculinized genitals is even more rare. Most likely complete, unless, again, she's severely simplifying the description. (That said, being the shortest of the ladies is unusual, though, of course, not impossible. AIS individuals tend to be taller than the average for XX individuals. Being the bustiest by a long shot is pretty common, though.)

Ramona may now be my absolute favorite character in the entire MaVerse. And yes, she would probably have total Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (Which means her use of the term hermaphrodite is outdated). And it would not surprise me, Kamino, if she is over simplifying or she was operated upon at birth and she isn't aware of it...and before I get anyone saying something on that front, there are a lot of intersexual individuals who don't know what was done to them at birth, and sometimes their parents don't even know and they don't know until they get access to their birth hospital records and even at that point, it isn't always clear if they're old enough. Learned that from a wonderful woman who didn't find out that she was intersex until she went in for transition related surgery and discovered that the doctors had removed her female organs at birth.
