Besides, I'm eager to see what plans she has to increase and secure membership.

Step 1: Find someone who can be persuaded to help, who shares your deep knowledge of yaoi, and who has a better knowledge of the world in general and the sharp end of the business in particular.

Step 2: Pick their brains as intensively as possible.

Step 3: Combine the information acquired in step 2 with your theoretical knowledge of business practices.

Step 4: Apply this stuff.

Now, where Zii's answers will take Ruby remains to be seen. I suspect that she's about to learn that she needs a bit more life experience, even if that does take her way out of her comfort zone.

Hopefully. This is all highly amusing, but could get dull if it is just Ruby manipulating Zii with yaoi.

Ruby has manipulated Zii. Which is actually kind of cute and kind of fun, because it confirms that Ruby's business brain is running in high gear these days - she's largely got the hang of these crazy people she's landed among, and actually, she's fully smart enough to work their levers sometimes. She's not just the naive virgin who needs to get out and meet people; she has her own aptitudes as well as her own motivations.

But yeah, that part of this scene is done now; we may get another strip of Zii drooling over the yaoi, because Zii drooling over the yaoi is a core Ma3-universe joke, don't knock it, but basically, Ruby now has to move on and close the deal. But the reason she's using Zii like this is that she needs someone more extrovert, with more of a feel for the external world, to make her business plan work - and asking Zii for help understanding how the world works is, if not downright risky, then at least likely to lead to interesting experiences.

Ruby may get dragged round assorted bars, cross-examined about her sex life, introduced to a strip club or two, or dressed up in rock chick chic - because that's just Zii being sociable and explaining the way she thinks that human sexuality works. Watching Ruby walk the line between crippling embarrassment and bubbly enthusiasm should be fun.

It would certainly be exciting and probably one of the few times Zii had a wing girl who does not want to get laid and would be relieved if Zii went home with the guys they meet.
