Sorry. I try to distinguish when I'm deducing stuff from when it's been flat-out stated, but (a) I'm verbose enough already, and (b) I tend to have confidence in my deductions. And (c) I tend to assume unconsciously that other people remember the strips as well as I do, and hence know what my evidence is...

I don't think that the revelation to Ruby of how far back Amber's enthusiasm for sex went made much difference, because it didn't really change Ruby's view of Amber. She already knew that Amber had been doing Disgusting Sex Stuff for at least seven or eight years (since Ruby was fourteen); this just told her that the time period was maybe more like ten years or more (and that it was probably part of why Amber wasn't as friendly to her back then as she wanted). Big whoop, really. She evidently always assumed (correctly) that Amber goes in for lots of sex because she enjoys it, rather than purely as a weird career choice, so there's no qualitative change in her viewpoint.

In the real world, this might actually modify someone's view of Amber's career choice, because a porn actress might have gone into the career for some reason other than enthusiasm for sex; indeed, many of us might feel some provisional sympathy for a woman who had maybe fallen into the job through desperation or bad choices. But Ruby doesn't think that way, which would look a bit harsh of her if she wasn't right. We don't know if Amber actually made it clear to Ruby at some point that porn work was her willing choice, or whether Ruby jumped to that conclusion unprompted, but the difference is moot, really. This is a comedy universe; people don't get into porn work through extreme economic duress or psychological trauma, so we can't blame Ruby for that assumption.

As to whether this will come up in her conversation with Zii - who knows? This could go lots of ways. Ruby might yell at Zii for being implicated in Amber's transformation into a lying slut, then walk out the door in a huff, but I don't think things will go that way; it's not that sort of comic, and Ruby is generally drawn somewhat sympathetically. Plus, I'm pretty sure Minew is there for a reason. I strongly suspect that we'll get a confused sort of conversation, with a lot of unstated false assumptions on both sides, all lubricated by splurges of maiden kitten lust.

Actually, I do wonder if we'll maybe get a frame or two of flashback first. We don't have any idea what Zii's original view of Ruby was, and that may merit illustration. I thought at one stage that Zii might well have more or less ignored Ruby as a gawky, naive irrelevance back then, but that now seems unlikely, given that she's recognised her from a brief glance at an oblique angle after a ten year gap. It's possible that Amber even boasted a bit about her cute and brainy sister, or something.

people love to have FACTS ILLUSTRATED and if it is not, in their mind is not possible

so a lot of us readers think that it is not possible that the stupid boys of the party said bad things to Ruby that led to her deciding not to have sex at all when they put up porn movies of Amber Amber, that it was simply "I don't want to do the same things as my sister"

they might have recognized or they might have not recognized Amber Amber as Amber Larose but odds are high that those boys at least asked Ruby to do the same thing the girls in the movie were doing, (which made her make the decision of no sex at all) and as She recognized Amber as the actress in those movies, it is why she blames Amber for how the boys acted toward her, that she was a potential sex object
