Or boobs, even on the narrow definition I'm used to...
We could talk about Dillon clamping his buttocks against Andy's junk ("Look Ma! Indecent assault with No hands!"), but this is getting into areas I'd prefer to leave to lawyers and porn casting directors. I still say it breaks any sane "No Touching" rule, whatever.

Boobs are included in "junk" to me, but since we were talking about a dude I figured they didn't need mention. ;)

It sounds like that "no touching" rule is interestingly flexible. ("Unless it's twerking"?) I won't comment on what you do with people I assume you know, but, umm, I think if you rubbed your butt against me, dancing or not, there's at least one person (beside me) who'd raise loud questions, and I wouldn't blame her.

Only Sane People in this setting have to have a flaw. Jerzy's is crap judgement about people he likes; Ruby's is her hang-ups.

Re: 08-04-14 Threw quite the tantrum
"It's okay because I'm in a relationship where we agreed we could do it, and it works out" doesn't actually make it okay. Everybody is different, different people are okay with- or comfortable with- different things, and what they're comfortable with doesn't necessarily make them right or wrong. It either means that you agree with them and there won't be any problems, or you disagree with them and it A) won't work out or B) somebody will have to compromise.
Dillon's problem is that he's a hypocrite. He made a pretty big scene in public on his very first date with Jerzy because Angel was flirting with him, and Dillon was staking a claim. Seriously, Dillon was a jealous ball of rage. The very next day, Dillon is flirting with a guy in a pet shop, and gets mad at Angel when he's called out on it. Yes, Angel was being emotionally manipulative, but Angel being wrong isn't mutually exclusive with Dillon being wrong; they can both be wrong at the same time, and they are. Also, as far as Andy is concerned, even though Dillon wasn't "copping a feel" on Andy, he was lying and manipulating Andy into touching him and getting rubbed on. That was honestly just creepy and awful, Jerzy's approval notwithstanding.
What would make this whole situation right is if Dillon and Jerzy just sat down and talked about what they're both comfortable with. If they just communicated with each other about what they think is appropriate, like a couple should, it wouldn't be an issue. Jerzy might even be okay with Dillon's flirting (despite Dillon being a hypocrite) because Jerzy himself has said that he doesn't mind "a little competition". Dillon should try asking exactly how much competition Jerzy considers "a little".
(Of course, we all know that isn't going to happen because this is a comic and oh boy we sure love our Three's Company misunderstandings. I'm just saying, it's only morally ambiguous until ground rules are laid down.)

Lol I don't rub my butt on strangers, Spidrift, geez. Get your mind out of the gutter.
Anyway, as intensely interesting as debating moral ambiguity in a Giz comic is, all I will say is that yes Dillon is a hypocrite but I don't really think, besides that, he's done anything wrong. People are stupid and often make confusing, dumb, sometimes hypocritical judgment calls, or react a certain way that doesn't make sense. That's why it's a situational comedy. It's supposed to be about people getting into dumb stuff through their own faults and means.
Then again, I think I'm like the polar opposite of most of you guys here. I love Dillon but Ruby kind of grates me. So, yeah, it's okay to ignore everything I say. Lol

It's probably mostly a question of who you can identify with.
My problem with Dillon isn't so much that he's a hypocrite; it's that he's vaguely aware of his faults, and he thinks they make him cute. There's very little more annoying than someone who thinks he's cute but isn't, especially if he uses it as an excuse for being a jerk.
Though obviously, if you do find him cute, all bets are off.

I used to think that Dillon was cute - that is, until he started interfering in Amber's love life (preventing her from seeing Gary by reminding her that he has feeling for him).Spidrift wrote:It's probably mostly a question of who you can identify with.

I can understand this when they were both single (it would be some variation of the Girl Code - you don't date a guy that your BFF has a crush on). But not only was he going back on his word when he said Amber could see Gary (tricked into it or not), but seeing as Dillon is with Jerzy at this point in time, he has no business preventing Amber from making her claim on Gary (but , we all know he will, anyway; because Dillon is a greedy bitch).
Please, don't come to me expecting me to fix your problems.

All that is certainly unattractive, but it could just make him a good comedy character - comedy being about imperfect people and all that. It's the sense that he, and maybe even the writers, think it actually makes him somehow sweet that causes me to grind my teeth a bit.
