The art is some of the best in web comics, some of the characterisation is interesting, and yes, some of the jokes are funny...

(Edit: And, let's be honest, most of the characters are pretty easy on the eyes, too.)

That is a genuine oddity about SDB; that it's possible to like everything about it except the supposed lead character (who actually doesn't seem to be getting the most screen time at the moment). I probably put too much effort into working out how and why it seems to have happened, but that's because I know it's so damned strange.

Conversely, yes, Ruby can be a good part of the reason to come here. She's a nerd. For some of us, that makes her the comic's personal identification character.

I may be odd in the fact that I came to read this comic for Amber. Like I have said before I have always liked her. She is funny, can be flirty and defiantly sexy.

Dillon is a good side character that sometimes makes me laugh and other times he annoys me.

I feel that Ruby is my main draw. It might be because she has a lot for interesting character traits and has a lot of potential for growth. Her learning from big sis and silly dilly seems to be the focus of the comic. It is not lost on me that she is sexy in a kind of naughty librarian way :x

Yeah, there's nothing weird about coming to the comic for Amber. She's sexy, a little weird, usually likeable, and where she has flaws, she usually admits them - and one gets the feeling that they may actually come around and bite her, and there'll be good stories in that.

But Ruby is unusual in the Ma3 universe in that she does actually has the potential for growth - not just learning better, or having her mistakes come back to hurt her, but actually becoming a bigger as well as a better person, without having to abandon all her old ideals.

Fingers crossed that this actually happens...

With those two that's actually not a bad idea
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

As long as she remembers to routinely replace or clean the plastic anyway.
