Is it okay to laugh at someone who's drowning?

Or is this a case of " You Raff, You Ruse?" :))

I would suggest that woman save Ruby and give her some CPR :ympray: But then I noticed that she was wearing watering wings and an innertube. :))

In the Ma3verse, the laws of physics are mere suggestions, Chantaru.

She must've ingested a lot of water if the Dillon is putting on is inducing this. Then again her glasses might've slipped off and she's struggling to recover those. Regardless I'm sure Andy will intervene shortly.

Ya know, CPR requires no swimming aptitude. ;;)

Get some cheap thrills?

Suspension of disbelief problems here (again). Why would any sane instructor bother teaching diving technique to someone who he knows can't swim?

Otherwise - well, a feeling that the story is treading water. More taunting poor old Ruby with the unfamiliar, ha ha. I'm still open to being impressed if she actually calls Dillon on his antics, but we all know that ain't gonna happen.

I think Dillon is being such a Dillon in this case to get Ruby to do something exactly like she's doing to get Andy's attention. In short, he's doing it on purpose to get Ruby in a place Andy will pay attention to her. So far, so good.

I think that's crediting Dillon with far too much...

Just far too much, really.

Scientifically, it's the upward force exerted by a fluid on an immersed object. In other words, that which makes things float rather than sink in water.

Of course, most human bodies have much the same buoyancy, because everyone's average density is about the same. (Very plump people are maybe a bit more buoyant than very skinny people.) So Ruby is talking nonsense when she says she has "superb buoyancy". But if she's using the word to mean that she's good at maintaining a safe floating position, well, that's near enough for a business major.
