Is Ruby actually aware of all the phallic imagery associated with bananas ? Them being her favorite is really ironic / display some repressed feelings (?) :D

I think that the point is that she didn't think about this sort of thing, until Dillon forced her to. And as a Kinsey-zero male who happens to like bananas, I'm on her side there. Sometimes, you just don't need some symbolism ... forced down your throat.

Alternatively, we're over-thinking a gag sketch that may not even be canon.

I wondered for a moment whether Ruby might be nosophobic - or at least androphobic - since Dillon only rubbed the banana against his face.
But if he did more than rub... or rubbed it elsewhere as well... >_< Yyyeah...

"Rubbed against his face" she could maybe just about take. "Rubbed against his face in a sexually suggestive manner" is the problem.

In other words, the word you're looking for is "coitophobic". Dillon has given bananas - or at least that banana - associations that Ruby just doesn't need.

(Or it's a joke.)
