Once again, Jerzy shows himself to be the perfect man. . . which, I think I'm okay with. Dilly's had some hard knocks over in ma3. That said--oh, Ruby, lol!

But Ruby discovering a taste for yaoi doesn't have to crash her coitophobic issues. Internal conflict. It's a great plot driver. Ruby can feel simultaneously disgusted and inexplicably warm whenever she thinks about this scene from now on. And even if she had to admit to herself that what she saw inspired feelings that she doesn't want, well, it's not like she's fantasising about heterosexual sex or anybody doing anything disgusting to her, is it? It was just ... nice to watch. Not that she should have watched, obviously. Ow. Better to think about something else. If possible.

I'm not saying that this is for sure where the plot is going with Ruby, but I do think it's possible. I may be reading too much into a few gags about Zii, and I don't want to seem to be analysing Giz, but I do get a feeling off her comics that pretty well all ("normal") women in them think that guy on guy action is hot. This could be the place where Ruby's well-repressed libido begins trying to poke small holes in the layers of repression she's accumulated - which doesn't mean that the whole shell has to disintegrate straight away.

I can't help but notice how Jerzy refers to Gary as competition. I hope it's not just a backhanded comment, and might actually play out somewhere.

Of course, Dillon could tell him about how Gary was his roommate who he once, and despite his claims to the contrary, probably still harbors a crush on. Moreover, how he deluded himself into thinking he could make him switch teams.

But if this comic's characters have the same tendency to assume rather than explain, I can't wait to see how it plays out for Gary and Jerzy.

Think about it, Dillon told Jerzy his ex was bi and cheated on him with a woman. At no point did he tell him his ex's name. Add that to the fact that he keeps Gary's picture next to his bed, not to mention a naked picture behind that picture, could hint that he still hold room in his heart(or his pants) for him. That might lead Jerzy into a little mistaken identity with Gary and Matt.

Wonder how this will go?

I'm leaning more towards #1 as likely to happen, seeing as the look on her face is not of 'Holy shit! This is so HOT!' but more of 'Holy shit! WTF?!'; there'd be an embarrassed blush in her cheeks if she found this arousing.

Maybe after things have pased and she thought it over, she may be forced to acknowledge how erotic it was; but for the time being, it seems to be little more than abject terror she's experiencing.
