Has anyone noticed how both Chanelle here and Gary in Ma3 are using headset microphones? - they're even both used in the thumbnails for their respective comics :P

I think we were too busy noticing that Chanelle looks sexy to notice the headsets.

Hey, we lesbians are not that rare ! :-w

Also, headset ? What headset ? :p

Squint and yes, Chanelle appears to be using a bluetooth headset to enable her to take 'phone calls while she works. Meanwhile, over in Ma3, Gary is using a headset because he's at work at a call centre.

The significance of the coincidence is overwhelming.

You mean Gary and Chanelle are really the same person pulling off an elaborate hoax as Gary lives a life of a female porn star and then, on his off days, spends his day as a faux virginal geek?

Hey...it makes as much sense as what's going on in MC right now.

MC has access to magic, psionics, and body-mass shifting arts that should belong only to the Courts of Chaos, dear. ^^

Now I'm wanting to know who the older sister is so here's hoping we find that out soon. I'm thinking Ruby is the older sister because of the way she's bossing Amber around at the moment. And I would like to see Ruby become a member of Gary's harem for little while anyway just to see the LaRose sisters fight over him.

Zelazny. Amber. Mostly the oh-god-anything-for-the-college-fund second series.

You've never had a kid sister, have you?

Ruby is showing all the symptoms of stroppy younger sibling syndrome. Plus, her mother has only just turfed her out of the house to go find work in the big city, whereas Amber left home years ago.

That might be the case but I have an older sister and when we were kids she either bossed me around or told me to shut up but that might be because I was the younger nerdy/geeky brother.

The second series had some good parts. Unfortunately, the protagonist wasn't really one of them.

It was best read as Zelazny showing that he could make shit up as he went along, for the money, so far as I could see. Okay, the first Amber series was Zelazny showing that he could make shit up as he went along, but at least he gave the appearance of trying back then.

I never read Zelazny. I tried, but found his prose to lack music.

Yes, well. I found the first series to at least work as a stand-alone. The second...either needed a third to make it worthwhile, or was just utterly out there.
