Question: Will these latest panels be contributing to a 2016 SDB calendar per chance?

How much research do you put into sexuality and gender such as gender fluidity and intersex?

Admittedly I am in the dark and I've read some grumbling from some people unhappy with the use of the word hermaphrodite by Ramona claiming no intersex person would ever say something like that.

Since it's a subject of interest for us, and we talk about it almost daily, I don't think we can call it research. So yeah, we know enough about it.

Was there supposed to be a Friday strip this week? If the answer is "New Year Holiday", then cool, have a good 2016 - but after the Wednesday glitch, I'm wondering if things have got stuck in the pipeline again.

Now that it's June when is this comic coming back from hiatus?

Sadly, the return may be delayed until August. (At least. I'm afraid that experience makes me horribly cynical about webcomic hiatus periods.) And yes, an announcement or sticky on this board might be a good idea...

I congratulate you on the well paying gigs and understand if Sticky Dilly Buns is delayed until September. I can also reconcile only getting one update for week, but when you say returning and finishing up SDB does that mean this next volume will be the last? I hope I'm wrong here.

"Pessimist" is an optimist's term for a realist.

Try realism. In this light, the last few plot developments look like the comic being set up for termination, with every really major plot arc capable of sort-of being resolved within a dozen strips (better than the major plot arcs in Magick Chicks, anyway). So I think that SDB will return in 2017 for a couple of dozen strips of epilogue.

SDB is coming back for a 3rd volume. Still not sure if it'll be as thick as a regular volume but I would suspect at least a 96 page volume (vs 150). But we'll see. All depends on various factors. Since we're two, it's hard to know who will have the time to work on it or not, and it's not really fair when it's one person doing all the work, so we'll see.
