You know, I really, really shouldn't find that such a hugely appealing idea. I shouldn't be dreaming of seeing this on Monday. With a few rounds of Yuki-style follow-through from Ruby next Friday, before Amber can stop her.themacnut wrote:If I'm right, then God help Dillon if he wanders into his bedroom in the middle of the night, dressed or otherwise. He'll be tasered, stun-gunned or pepper-sprayed so thoroughly that by the time Amber responds to his howls of pain (and terror!) she'll find him huddled in a corner of his bedroom in the fetal position crying for mercy (or lying in a twitching heap if tasered/stun-gunned) with Ruby standing over him going "That's what you GET for trying to make a VICTIM outta ME, your rapist PERVERT!!" and then Amber will have to intervene quickly to save Dillon's very life.
I certainly shouldn't be finding the idea faintly erotic.
We don't actually know Yuki's feelings about yaoi, really. I mean, it'd have to be non-explicit, obviously, but she does find the male form otherwise quite appealing...vampire hunter D wrote:Of course not. Otherwise you've got a lot of explaining to do to fit Yuki into this.
Oh, knowing mothers, I'm pretty sure she did send the e-mail. She just took the fact and nature of a response for granted.BioYuGi wrote:I still say it's ruder of Amber's mom to not wait for a reply to her, and seriously, why not call her, wouldn't that be easier? Especially for something this important. Makes me think that the mom might have not even bothered to e-mail her.
Look, it's rude of Amber not to read her damn e-mails. It was rude of her mother to take her for granted and ignore Ruby's warnings. It was foolish of Ruby to assume that things would be okay, and to fail to press her warnings hard enough. There are no heroes here, and no winners.
(Except possibly, in the latter case, their mother, who's got Ruby off her hands.)
