Re: 22-07-13 Three Hundred
I get a strong sense that an Ma3 crossover is not on the cards for a long time yet, somehow.
Also, I think you've missed the point with Ruby. My guess is that she's not a cat lover, particularly, as such; she's just got a terrible susceptibility to cuteness. As Lita isn't very cute at all - in fact, she looks like a different species to those kittens (largely due to art style variation, but still) - Ruby will probably be entirely immune to her "charms".
Also, she may just snap out of this once she realises how she's looking to everyone right now.
(On the other hand, why should Lita hate Ruby? Lita has an uncanny sensitivity to human emotions. Which in my book should mean that she finds Ruby interesting and probably sympathetic. If Ruby thinks she's cute, Lita will just take it as her due; if Ruby dislikes her, Lita will hang around Ruby to wind her up.)

Kid, Dillon is about as macho as Betty-fucking-Boop.
That's, like- y'know- completely less than the golden standard for a picture of masculinity.

A yeah, Arkadi...Way out of line with that. Child molestation is nothing at all to make light of & frankly I'm offended at your treatment of it via your statement.
It's time to prove to your friends that you're worth a damn. Sometimes that means dying; sometimes that means killing a whole lot of people.

I think I would want a parent's ok before handing over 300 crickets to some kid. This smells of enabling a practical joke to me.

The kid appears to be serving in the pet shop - presumably, appearance notwithstanding, he's old enough for that to be permitted. Someone else has requested the 300 crickets - presumably by 'phone order or something, as they don't seem to be around just now.

Ah-ha! At last, Ruby's weakness has transpired! Perhaps our hero, Dillon, will prevail, after all!

Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Re: 22-07-13 Three Hundred
Bringing a pet cat into someone else's home, on a whim, would be a bit of an excessive imposition in my book. Ruby isn't Ms. Socially Sensitive, admittedly, but I think she'd see this as pushing some kind of limit, especially as her own future is a little uncertain in detail. Anyhow, when her brain recovers its equilibrium, she might decide that, cute as those things are, having one around permanently would put her dignity at too much risk.
Whether Dillon might decide to pick one up on a whim is another matter. He's goofy at the best of times, and he might decide that something that can bring out Ruby's softer side would be good for her.

ruby probably knows her sister well enough to know that amber would probably love to have a new puss around, to pet and cuddle and play with.Spidrift wrote:Bringing a pet cat into someone else's home, on a whim, would be a bit of an excessive imposition in my book. yeah, he'd be at least 16, if my knowledge of Quebec labour laws is still sufficient. (15 with parental permission). Still a bit young for Dillon, whom I'm sure has shown some restraint..... somewhere?Spidrift wrote:The kid appears to be serving in the pet shop - presumably, appearance notwithstanding, he's old enough for that to be permitted. Actually, part of the point of that relationship is that they don't really know each other at all. (At the current rate, Dillon will soon know Ruby better than Amber does.)'J' wrote:ruby probably knows her sister well enough to know that amber would probably love to have a new puss around, to pet and cuddle and play with.

Heheheh ^^ That's exactly what I thought.Bambikles wrote:I wonder... isn't it how Dillon would have spoke at the same age ?
Wha...? Well, if anyone got offended at that, I'm sorry (and by "sorry" I mean "I sincerely apologize") But I was not suggesting that Dillon could be a pedo: we all know Dillon and that'd be crazy and completely OOC for him, on top of being ethically disgusting. But, just like Bambikles, I thought that Jacob looked a lot like a younger version of Dillon, and I did see the possibility of him getting a teenage crush on the protagonist and starting to follow him around. That is the way I meant it. I hope all's clear now ^^Motorcycle wrote:Arkadi wrote:Will our hero be able to resist the *ahem* touch of the younger kind? Let's hope so!

Don't worry. It'll be good for her.

The loss of Amber to SDB hurt MA3 in ways it still hasn't recovered from.Spidrift wrote:I get a strong sense that an Ma3 crossover is not on the cards for a long time yet, somehow.
