1st Aniversay/Birthday Contest : Entry thread.

And this months contest is... no contest! Thats right, we're going to have a nice relaxed month with everything being just for fun!

Since its slightly overdue, November marks the creation of the forum as it is now, so its technically our 1 year aniversary this month! And to mark it, we're going to be celebrating Frankies birthday on the 25th.

For those who don't know, or can't remember, Frankie is our lovable giant kodiak bear, forum mascot and all round strange, pink coloured and bacon loving occupant of the Elder Cave. Born into the world on the 25th of November, (waaayyyy back on page 56 of the Elder Cave ), we're going to be throwing him a party of the 25th in the Elder Cave and everyones invited, forum Elder and noobie alike.

So the contest this month is do something to celebrate! You've got free reign over what you want to do, but since its a 'just for fun' contest, there will be no voting, and Frankie will be picking out his favourites for honourable mentions and possible prizes... therefore bacon and the colour pink are recomended to be in your enteries whatever they may be.

There are no rules other then make it fun, and within logical reason and the universal forum guidelines.

In order to properly honour ze momentous occasion zat ve find in ze establishment of zis place of vitty remarks and thoughtful communication I sink ve haff to analyze zis Frankie person, ja?
Frankie iz said to be a Kodiak bear. A vild and ferocious beast zat doubtlessly signifies the primal urges and dezires, vich are known as ze "id". Untamed and impulsive Frankie allows us to liff out zose dark and shamefull fantasies zat we only ever dream of, but bearly dare mention.
But! And zis is ze important part! Frankie iz not only a bear, - and not just any bear, but a Kodiak bear - Frankie iz also PINK. A colour zat iz homely and domestic and by itself as non zreatening as it gets. In zis vay Frankie combines ze eternal opposites of ze human experience. And it iz zis dichotomy vich makes Frankie unique and makes him ze embodiment of ze forum and its extraordinary denizens.
Zerefore I salute Frankie on zis wery special day of vich I expect many happy returns!

As a special gift I bring a stein of cold German beer and some pumpernickel viz butter and smoked ham (vich after all iz not zat dissimilar to bacon, nicht wahr?).
