The Beard and/or Mustache Contest

A masculine counterpart to The Cleavage Contest, the rules are similar:

1) Contestants post pictures of their Beards and/or Mustaches.
2) Contestants who lack sufficient manliness to extrude a Beard and/or Mustache may utilize Fake and/or Prosthetic Beards and/or Mustaches, which will be entered into a separate category.
3) Entry period will last one full month, to give contestants who lack them time to extrude and/or obtain their Beards and/or Mustaches. Voting period will then commence, lasting of one full week, after which the owners of the best Beard and/or Mustache & the best Fake and/or Prosthetic Beard and/or Mustache will be declared winners, and granted all benefits said status customarily entails.

Get to bearding it!!!

EDIT (2 weeks later):
I decided I'd still wanted to compete with DnE's Obi Wan Kenobi beard and thus trimmed down my goatee and sideburns after not having shaved for 11 days.
Result: My too-cool-to-shave-look.

(I know, the beard-growth is terrible...)

Here it is... the fruit of my labor. It's not much, but it's a beard allright.

Since the contest started, I started extruding a manly beard, so you are seeing the fruit of my labor since about August 4th. This is also the Beard of Love, since my wife really likes beards and is thrilled I've been growing one. It is a Beard of History too, since it might not be apparent from the picture, but my beard is somewhat ginger. My maternal grandfather, whom I resemble, too had a ginger beard and brown hair, so a beard that bravely fought fascism and communism is returning to the world, though it has been re-purposed to fight academics at my Oral Exam coming up.
