1. Only one thing can be entered to make it fair to those who aren't making an entire meal. You can make an entire meal, but you'll only be judged on one thing within it.

and by one thing do you mean jus tone thing? e.g. if i make chicken and rice&sause, only the chicken shall be judged?

No... I mean only one thing as in an entire meal consists of several courses and you'll only be judged on one of them.
