Maybe, but if I recall correctly from the Stoker novel, as long as the person dies from the vampire bite, they become a vampire themselves. If a person gets bitten and others are successful at warding the offending vampire off while giving the victim enough time to recover, then the victim's vampirism goes into remission. The big exception, in the case of Mina, is if the victim consumes the blood of the vampire. If that happens, then, outside of killing said vampire, there's literally nothing that can be done to stop the victim from turning. They'll turn gradually, and if they die during the process, they become vampires immediately. Again, I could be wrong about all of this.
