With all the blood depicted in this update, it seems to have an R rated vibe. Is this comic R rated?

So he can fire a shotgun one-handed. Is the weapon somehow enchanted to negate recoil or is Abe just that fucking strong? He should be suffering from a badly dislocated shoulder right now in his attempt to look badass.

Sorry for the profanity in this link, but...

Now, we didn't call in the script for it to be one handed, but it certainly makes him look hard-core, so we like it!

It's difficult and requires tremendous arm strength and control, but it's not impossible, with practice. Nor does it require magic.

Thanks. It's always great to see creators take the time to discuss things.

I found the page a little too bloody for a Teen or PG-13 rating. Then again, I tend to rate violence more harshly then sexual content.

I agree with you about sexual content versus violence. But I'm not sure this page is all that violent. There's blood, to be sure, but we aren't showing body parts or ripping people apart which, for example, we see in superhero books sometimes these days.

It's definitely too bloody for all ages. But all told, I think it's not too gory. Just bloody. And when you do a book about Dracula, don't you NEED a bit of blood?
