What's with all the spoiler tags?

That's a heavy assumption to make, especially when, in some scenes, it is very heavily alluded (if not thrown in your face) that they're having sex with him, and they poke fun at him in a loving way (similar to the way siblings tease each other).
You deduce it by reading the book. In addition to the ones Gotoh had there's
this and
this and
this (they're the ones with superstrength, but he has to carry their bags until he drops) and
this.
As I argue
here, there's no real evidence that they had sex with him after the first time. Michael Shelfer's view was that the VC were using the memory of it to string him along as part of their fan club (someone who waits on a person in the vain hope she'll have sex with him). You can strain to find ambiguous quotes, even from parties with no direct knowledge like Lita, but this is based on a teen sex comedy. There's no need for subtlety.

It's only because he cares about them that he puts up with it, and they know that, which is why they support and protect him in times of need. And since they're vampires, that means they have years and years of wisdom and maturity on him. Surely he would have to be strong or otherwise possess something special deep within for them not to overlook him as a mere mortal.
Getting kicked in the head by a super-strong vampire is a sign of affection? Being forced to ride in the trunk? Calling someone "thrall" or "slave" is not a term of respect. He puts up with it because he's been heavily
glamoured. When it's removed he helps PMS capture them.
supremz wrote:The scene where he goes out of his way to get them blood-filled melons and they tease him about being pussy whipped really shows off their relationship, and while it may seem like he's being used as a blood fountain, ultimately it saves Lori's life. The same is true with the fanservice scene with Katie in the time and space series. Why wouldn't she just claw his eyes out if she had no affection for him?
Also, if they didn't care about Leonard, then why did they spare him from being turned into a vampire? It's quite clear that they do, and they know he cares deeply about them too, or they wouldn't have taken him in.
The ones saying that were squad B. They weren't vampires then and didn't know about them. They were just whispering to themselves how oddly subservient Leonard was. That's their relationship. The VC didn't spare him from becoming a vampire,
they turned him into a thrall to do their grunt work. Even if Lori can turn males, she wouldn't want a geeky progeny for eternity. At best he's treated like a pet. He's allowed in their presence when he's useful, when they go out to have fun he's made to get lost, as
Adam said and also
here, where they make him walk home from downtown.[/quote]
