If we're talking Vampire Cheerleaders, then clearly the Guardians since they existed long before life on Earth, but Green Lantern is purely a comic book in the Vampire Cheerleaders universe...

Now, if we're purely talking the DC Comics Universe, then general wisdom would say the Guardians of the Universe... but you could probably make some type of case for the vampire Monitor Mandrakk from Final Crisis: Superman Beyond, I suppose.

In other words, The Guardians ar older, by over four billion years. And The Oans could outclass the Vampire Cheerleaders in terms of power. Maybe.

Aren't the Oans the alien race that created the Green Lantern Corps? If that is the case, I would wager that the Oans are so far out of the Vampire Cheerleaders league in terms of power that any kind comparison between them would be laughable. The Vampire Cheerleaders are small time in both power and ambition.

That they are. Pitting The Vampire Cheerleaders against The Guardians would be like pitting five fanged Bambis against Godzilla on Mega-steroids.

Does anyone know whether Leonard will be any more important later on? Like at all?

Okay, got the Kindle edition of Vol 2. A couple of questions for you, Adam (and Ian too). (Warning, here be spoilers)

PMS: Is the 'Jane Doe' that Lita possesses effectively a spoiler for VC when it hits the webpage? Though her hair seems different. Also, is it just me, or was I right in thinking her initial appearance was a homage to an old Ranma story? I take it that Charlotte's 'brainwashed' outfit is a Zatana shout out, or am I wrong? And Who were Steph and Katie homaging there? Speaking of Char, I rather enjoyed that nice little bit of fanservice surrounding my favorite PMS'r, in both of her outfits there.

As for VC, well I don't think anybody's opinion will shift much in either direction by the time Vol 2 is done. On the other hand, this was all written out and ready before page 1 hit the web, and Adam might be looking at fan reaction for Vol 3. Was the reference to the schools of EC/MC having teams there planned ahead of time, or something thrown in after the story was mostly done? I wish we could at least seen them in the background, though I am certain none of the main EC/MC characters would be on the teams. I really would have loved a brief encounter between the VC girls and one or more of the girls from either of those schools. Something along the lines of 'okay, they make me very uneasy'.

It's the same person. We tried to match the look as close as we could between Ian and Shiei.

I asked for a general smoke form. So maybe Ian pulled an homage there. Not sure.

Ding ding.

And Who were Steph and Katie homaging there?

Someone else will have to point this one out. I'm not saying a word.

I added it to the script when I wrote the EC guest strips. I was originally going to only name drop one, but I went for broke since VC and PMS work as a pair just like EC and MC do. The name I was going to have instead was Nobel High, but they have their own full-blown cameo that you'd have to really look to spot the school crest.

Not unusual for the JV girls to wear a different uniform. Saw that in all three high schools I personally attended. Usually it's a cheaper one.

The main reason is that we needed very quick and easy way to show the Vampire Cheerleaders apart from the B Squad part of the team when they're all together on the same page. So the VC have a 2 piece uniform, and the B Squad have a single uniform.

It works really well as a way of differentiating the A squad from the B, I only asked as I really didn't know.

Is this the first question bout cheer-leading this forum has had?

Heh heh. I think there might've been one before... or maybe I'm just remembering talking about cheerleading before.

If this were an actual competition, the entire team would have a matching uniform (possibly with long sleeves as that helps make the arm motions easier to see), and the team would mostly be walking around in team warm-up suits and not their actual uniforms. But that doesn't look as sexy when drawn, and part of the appeal here is the fan service. ^_^

I would never complain about the fan service, this is my favourite comic.

Why thank you! And trust me... there's definitely more fan service to come. If you thought the elevator scene was hot, just wait until you see what Shiei and I have in store...
